US Patent 6,506,148: Nervous system manipulation by electromagnetic fields from monitors
Physiological effects have been observed in a human subject in response to stimulation of the skin with weak electromagnetic fields that are pulsed with certain frequencies near 1/2 Hz or 2.4 Hz, such as to excite a sensory resonance. Many computer monitors and TV tubes, when displaying pulsed images, emit pulsed electromagnetic fields of sufficient amplitudes to cause such excitation. It is therefore possible to manipulate the nervous system of a subject by pulsing images displayed on a nearby computer monitor or TV set. For the latter, the image pulsing may be imbedded in the program material, or it may be overlaid by modulating a video stream, either as an RF signal or as a video signal. The image displayed on a computer monitor may be pulsed effectively by a simple computer program. For certain monitors, pulsed electromagnetic fields capable of exciting sensory resonances in nearby subjects may be generated even as the displayed images are pulsed with subliminal intensity.
This basically means that for television an advertiser can make use of this patent to manipulate a persons nervous system to effect their buying decisions. This is the first thing I think they’ll do with the patent. There are also many other things they could do such as invoke the effect witnessed in 1984 during the 30 minutes of hate. It’s basically a patent on a form of brainwashing. I know you could Tivo through the commercials but they could embed this into shows and even the news. I wouldn’t put it past a government to use this to get you extra mad at those terrorists, influencing public opinion to support costly wars.
The patent also implies more of a computer based purpose and I think the same thing applies. Advertisers use the methods in the patent to effect the nervous system of web users to effect their buying decisions. At least with computers we can still enjoy the Internet without advertisements – simply install Ad blocking technology in your browser of choice.

Can we just confirm, are you Astralknight? On one of your previous posts “Admin” and “Astralknight” seem to be having a conversation, but then it also seems as if you are having a conversation with yourself. Its not clear.
Whats also not clear is that its said that you think Roy is nuts, yet AstralKnight claims Techrights is a good source of info. Its also claimed that Astralknight has a live.com email, yet he hasn’t posted on his Twitter to confirm this is infact him. Its all rather confusing.
Maybe Admin/Astralknight can clear this all up?
If Astralknight is indeed genuine, then Im sure he wouldn’t mind confirming this on twitter.com/astralknight I have already addressed a message to him, but he has not yet responded. If he does that we can then move on and look forward to seeing the new direction he plans on taking. I certainly would like to see some of his opinions this time around and not just a re-posting of other peoples articles.
